These Terms and Conditions apply when you browse our website, create an account, request a quote, place an order, buy products, collect products, or receive delivery from U Build.

By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

  1. Products sold by U Build

U Build supplies building, renovation and home improvement products, including products such as aluminium doors, aluminium windows, home improvement products, lighting, electrical products, outdoor products, plumbing products, kitchen products, shower products, taps, mixers, tiles, flooring and toilet products.

Product descriptions, images, measurements, colours, prices and availability are provided to help customers make an informed purchase decision. We try to keep product information accurate and up to date, but minor differences may occur due to supplier updates, screen display settings, lighting, product batches, natural material variation or packaging changes.

Customers are responsible for checking measurements, specifications, quantities, finishes, colours, product suitability and installation requirements before placing an order.

  1. Prices

All prices are shown in South African rand.

Prices may change without prior notice. The price shown at checkout at the time of order will apply to that order.

Any delivery fee, service fee, handling fee, tax or other order charge will be shown before payment is confirmed, where applicable.

If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a website error, supplier error or technical issue, we may cancel the affected order and refund any amount already paid.

  1. Stock availability

All orders are subject to stock availability.

If a product becomes unavailable after an order is placed, we will contact you and offer one of the following options:

  1. A suitable replacement product
  2. A later delivery or collection date where available
  3. A refund for the unavailable item

We are not liable for any loss caused by stock becoming unavailable.

  1. Orders

When you place an order on the website, you are making an offer to buy the selected products.

An order is only accepted by U Build once payment has been received or authorised and the order has been confirmed for processing.

We may refuse or cancel an order where:

  1. Payment is not received or is reversed
  2. The product is unavailable
  3. The price or product information is incorrect
  4. The delivery address is outside our service area
  5. The order appears fraudulent or suspicious
  6. The order cannot be fulfilled for a lawful or practical reason
  7. Payment

Payment options are shown during checkout.

Customers must use a valid payment method and must be authorised to use that payment method.

Orders will only be processed after payment has been received or authorised.

For security reasons, payment information may be processed by secure payment providers. U Build does not require or store full card details on the website.

  1. Delivery

U Build offers delivery where available.

Delivery options, delivery fees and estimated delivery timeframes will be shown at checkout or confirmed before the order is finalised.

Free shipping may be available on qualifying orders over R1300, subject to the delivery address, product type, product size, product weight and checkout confirmation.

Bulky, fragile, heavy or special order products may require a separate delivery quote.

Delivery dates and times are estimates only. We will try to deliver within the estimated timeframe, but delays may happen due to stock availability, supplier delays, courier delays, weather, access issues or other events outside our control.

The customer must make sure that the delivery address is correct and that someone is available to receive the goods.

  1. Collection

Where collection is available, the customer must collect from the address or branch confirmed by U Build.

Proof of order and proof of identity may be required before goods are released.

Risk in the goods passes to the customer once the goods are collected by the customer or by any person collecting on the customer’s behalf.

  1. Inspection on delivery or collection

Customers must inspect goods as soon as reasonably possible after delivery or collection.

Any visible damage, missing parts, incorrect products or delivery issues must be reported to U Build as soon as possible, preferably within seven days.

Please keep the product, packaging, accessories and proof of purchase while the matter is being assessed.

  1. Installation

Unless installation is specifically included in writing, U Build supplies products only.

Customers are responsible for arranging qualified installers where required.

U Build is not liable for damage, faults, poor performance or safety issues caused by incorrect installation, misuse, unauthorised alteration, poor maintenance, normal wear and tear, incorrect measurements or failure to follow manufacturer instructions.

  1. Returns and refunds

Returns are handled according to our Refunds and Returns Policy.

U Build does not accept returns for change of mind, incorrect measurements, incorrect quantities ordered, buyer error, colour preference, style preference or products ordered in error, unless required by law or agreed by U Build in writing.

Returns are accepted for faulty items, damaged on delivery items or incorrectly supplied items, subject to inspection and the Refunds and Returns Policy.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits any consumer right that cannot lawfully be limited.

  1. Warranties

Some products may include a manufacturer warranty.

Where a manufacturer warranty applies, the warranty terms will be those provided by the manufacturer.

Warranty claims may require proof of purchase, photos, inspection, supplier assessment and confirmation that the product was used, installed and maintained correctly.

  1. Website use

You may use this website for lawful personal or business shopping purposes.

You may not:

  1. Use the website for fraud or unlawful activity
  2. Interfere with the website or its security
  3. Copy website content for commercial use without permission
  4. Submit false, misleading or harmful information

Please notify us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, U Build will not be liable for indirect loss, loss of income, loss of profit, project delays, contractor costs, installation costs, replacement labour costs, loss caused by incorrect measurements or loss caused by misuse of products.

Our liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for the affected product, unless the law requires otherwise.

  1. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including supplier delays, courier delays, strikes, load shedding, system failures, weather, accidents, stock shortages, public restrictions or other disruptions.

Your personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

By using the website or placing an order, you agree that we may process your personal information for lawful business purposes, including order processing, payment, delivery, support, returns, fraud prevention and legal compliance.
